The problem here is that the scripts tend to be one-off per-project things.
Most of the actual smarts are in my head in terms of CPAN-fu, which brings the
fiddling down to about 10 minutes per environment - at which point it's not
worth the effort of doing even a hacky general solution.
It's not hard though - just configure CPAN to send EUMM *and* MB stuff to a
common area and futz PERL5LIB appropriately.
