Replying to digests at all is tacky, because it causes wrong values for the In-Reply-To and References headers, making the threading completely screwy in mailers which know to do threads. I had quite a bit of trouble understanding what this thread had to do with the one about multi-table queries until I figured out that both Ben Hopkins and Dennis Daupert were replying to digests, so their threads got fragmented but the fragments of both got intermingled. I hate digests. All they ever do is cause trouble except for people who use the poorest possible tools to read their mail. Whoever came up with the idea should be shot.
