Actually Rails is an emergent framework that's been rolled out from Basecamp. That's why it has functionality holes, they only get fixed when the developers get an itch. But my point isn't that it's been "designed" by marketing people, just that 37Signals are out there making a *lot* of noise about it. We just sit using Catalyst and being smug about our ill-educated cousins over there in Railsland. A bit like Betamax owners. The difference being that we can make our own tapes so the format need never be obsolete :-) Simon. _______________________________________________ List: [email protected] Listinfo: http://lists.rawmode.org/mailman/listinfo/catalyst Searchable archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Dev site: http://dev.catalyst.perl.org/
