Possibly because if you already use Mason, you don't have much use for Catalyst, and vice versa? There's a lot of overlap in functionality between the two, especially in terms of controller duties. Also, Mason is heavier and slower than other choices if you all you're using it for is templates. > How is TT better than Mason anyway?
