Yes and no. Depends on what you’re doing. But in the case of Catalyst, you’ll probably get much more speed out of switching to another templating engine and/or ORM than out of switching the framework, whose total performance impact is negligible. So I don’t know what the point of benchmarking frameworks against each other is, particularly for such an unrepresentative case.
