It isn’t even necessary that. Personally, I’ve found that redirects take care of all the common cases, and in other scenarios, the issue is better addressed at deeper layers of the app. So I never felt a need for a solution to Bernhard’s problem and therefore I couldn’t even tell him how to do it. I suspect the same is true for others. But if he can present a reason that convinces me and which I feel would be a good thing to keep in mind for my own apps in the future, then I might be inclined to dig in and find out, because I’ll learn something for myself in the process.
