In the Presence of God
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor
principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor
height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to
separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38-39
In the presence of God, there is peace and joy unspeakable; joy that
is not dependent on the circumstances of our day because our faith is
fixed on Christ. How wonderful that there is nothing within our day
that is able to separate us from His love and care. Even the worst
circumstance we face is better with God on our side than a perfect
day without Him. We can be assured that there is nothing within our
day that we cannot conquer when God is by our side. He is faithful.
Prayer
Lord, I offer myself to You completely. Every part of my life I
surrender. I invite You to participate in every activity of my day.
Surround me with Your peace and joy. In the good times or the bad as
long as You are with me, I will not be afraid, because I know You are
faithful and there is nothing that can separate me from Your love. Amen.
