Thank you so very much for your prayers for Adrian. He was able to
have surgery by a specialist in Charlottesville and didn't require
travel to Walter Reed. The surgery took place on Monday and was
successful. He is now back home recuperating and plans to return to
school this coming Monday.

As I understand it, it seems that the mass they believed was a tumor
was actually an oddly placed
<http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-the-duodenum.htm>duodenum. They
think that the pain was caused by a combination of gall bladder
stones (some marble sized ones.....they removed those and the gall
bladder) and that the lower part of the duodenum, affected by the
staph infection which had gone systemic, actually twisted on him.
Through Him, With Him, In Him,
Sue

Lord, may everything we do begin with Your inspiration and continue
with Your help,
so that all our prayers and works may begin in You and by You be happily ended.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
