And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter,

What an amazing and even overwhelming thought, to know that the
Spirit of God has come to dwell within my heart. When I stop and
really think about how awesome it is, to have God Himself living
within my heart, being part of every aspect of my life, it makes me a
little more conscious of my actions. Who am I to receive such a
privilege? What a beautiful thing, I do not have to be any one
special, I cannot earn it, and I certainly do not deserve it.
Today I am so very grateful to be a recipient of His love, comfort,
and support; to have Him be my advocate, my friend, my companion, my
counselor, my teacher, and my protector. He guides my decision
making, makes me aware of my sin, and is certainly the One I can
trust with my deepest thoughts and emotions. Whenever I feel as if I
have been abandoned and am standing alone, I take comfort and
strength knowing, the Spirit of the One and only living God has taken
up residence in my heart, and even the tiniest details of my life is
important to Him. Wow!
Prayer
Thank You Holy Spirit for living within me; for being all that I need
and never leaving me alone. Make me aware today of Your presence;
strengthen me and guide me and help me to keep Your principles in my
heart and life. Amen
