If Christ Jesus dwells in a person, that person can endure all things

If Christ Jesus dwells in a person as his friend and noble leader,
that person can endure all things, for Christ helps and strengthens
us and never abandons us. He is a true friend. And I clearly see that
if we expect to please him and receive an abundance of his graces,
God desires that these graces must come to us from the hands of
Christ, through his most sacred humanity, in which God takes delight.

Many, many times I have perceived this through experience. The Lord
has told it to me. I have definitely seen that we must enter by this
gate if we wish his Sovereign Majesty to reveal to us great and
hidden mysteries. A person should desire no other path, even if he or
she is at the summit of contemplation; on this road one walks safely.
All blessings come to us through our Lord. He will teach us, for in
beholding his life we find that he is the best example. (Life 22, 6-7.14).

St. Teresa of Avila

Christ is the person to whom we need to go to when we feel abandoned
by everyone. He clearly told us: "Come to me, all who labour and are
heavy laden, and I will give you rest" (Matt 11, 28).

His loving presence is for us a guaranteed comfort in our stress,
disappointments, depressions and fatigue. He is indeed our True Friend.

Prayer for Unborn Life:
O GOD OF LIFE AND LOVE, You have given us the gift to participate
with You to bring new life into the world. But, all too often, the
mother's womb, which should be a nursery of life, becomes instead a
place of it's destruction.

Help us to remove this evil and ensure respect for all life made in
Your image and likeness, called to fulfill its promise on this earth,
and destined to find a home with you for all eternity.

We ask this through Jesus Christ, Our Lord, Our God, Our Savior, and Our ALL.
Amen.
