Hi everyone, Just wanted to send a quick note before bed to let you all know how things went with my mom. First of all, thank you all so very much for your precious prayers. They worked! While we got bad news in that the mass was malignant, they don't seem to have found any cancer cells in her lymph nodes.
Also good news is that while they did remove the lower lobe of her right lung, they did NOT end up cutting through her ribs. They were able to go in and remove it through three small incisions, as they hoped. This is great news, because her recovery time will be much, much shorter! Thank you all so very much for your wonderful prayers, which our merciful and gracious Lord heard. Please continue praying, especially that she will not contract MRSA or any other infection while in the hospital. She will probably be in the hospital four days. Now, to bed after a very long day.
