Hello Dear Ones in Christ, I hope you all had a peaceful feast of Christ the King. My mom is still in hospital but doing better. She is talking and more alert and has been successfully weaned off the morphine. What I am praying for now is that she will be able to get up and around more. She's spent most of her time in bed for the past week and is just now getting up and around a little. It looks like she may be spending Thanksgiving in the hospital, which makes us all sad. She's still grumpy and short tempered and has told us not to bring her a holiday plate of food. We are all very sorry she is so grumpy, but not much that we can do. We all love her and just want to get her home. I thank you so much for all the prayers and ask you to continue praying. I am worried about infection and illness she might pick up there if she stays too much longer.
Please pray for Dave, who is undergoing sinus surgery tomorrow, which is Monday. Please also pray for Dan, who is in Afghanistan and away from his family this year. He is lonely. Please remember to say a prayer for all the military service members and contractors who are spending the holidays far from home and in harm's way, and for all the sick in hospital over the holidays. Thank you again for your prayers! Love to you all in Christ!
