Good Morning everyone:

This is sad news – My Mom is not doing very well
and has taken a very bad turn in her
illness. Currently Her kidneys are in failure,
blood pressure is going down very low(75/48) and
according to the Hospice Care Team there are only
days left. Mom had been a semi-comatose state (
Christmas Eve and Day) but currently she is back
with us for a time. She has always been a fighter
and I believe is just waiting until her sister
and some other family members arrive. She is
somewhat disoriented, days and times messed up
and she is talking about trying to get somewhere
because she is not where she should be?

I am just very grateful that she has true faith
and understands that at times we must suffer just
a little bit here on earth, but our reward is so merciful and wonderful.

I am grateful for this time with her, to be able
to let her know how much I have loved her and how
much she means to me. This is a sad time but also
I feel joy knowing that her time of trial is just
about over and that I WILL see her again in G_D’s
Glory, in our heavenly home. Death is not an
end, just a new beginning in eternity.

My sister is here currently but does need to go
home for an appointment on Monday. Mom’s sister
and her husband will be here today. So things are somewhat under control.

I ask for prayers for my Dad, sister who are
having a very difficult time in dealing with
everything going on. There is anger, hurt,
frustration, and many other emotions that they
are feeling. Pray that G_D, through HIS SON, our
Redeemer, gives them the ability to turn towards
HIM at this time and Pray with their hearts.

What do we need at this time, PRAYER and more
PRAYER, Rosaries said for Mom’s soul and if you
want visits and if you can help with her personal
care. Hospice only comes once a day and other
then myself no one can do personal care for Mom.
I know it is very hard for people, especially
family, to have to do these things for a loved
one. I am thankful that G_D has given me the
knowledge and the grace to be able to do these
things. Though I am getting a bit tired, I
believe that I can continue for a time. My
sister has been taking the wee- hours of the
morning allowing me to go home and get some rest.

Thank you all for your prayers and concern,

Love,

Geri

Lord, may everything we do begin with Your
inspiration and continue with Your help,
so that all our prayers and works may begin in You and by You be happily ended.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
