Hi all,

My dear friend, Ruth, went to meet her maker yesterday at 5:30
a.m. She had gone through intense suffering from cancer the last
weeks of her life. I had sent her the Pieta book recently. When I
spoke to her on the phone, she told me that she had read it from
cover to cover. Even though she was a Lutheran, she was always open
to learn prayers which I was able to send to her, including the
Rosary and Chaplet of Mercy.

When Ruth was young she spent time at the Vatican as a scholar; she
was a Latin teacher and part of her work (as a student) was
translating documents there.

Please pray for her soul. May she now be in God's loving embrace.

Thank you.

Sandy

Lord, may everything we do begin with Your inspiration and continue
with Your help,
so that all our prayers and works may begin in You and by You be happily ended.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
