My little grandson, Mikey, is 4 years old. He has a condition called alopecia totalis which is a complete loss of hair from his head, his eyebrows and his eyelashes partially on one eye. He is HEALTHY otherwise, and I am thankful for that, and he deals with his hair loss very well right now as a 4 year old. However, I personally know of no other children with this problem (although there are many, I'm sure) and, as he gets older, I can only imagine what type of teasing he may have to undergo. His hair grew back a few months ago, only to fall out again within 10 days of regrowth. Will you join me in prayer that he will regain his beautiful head of hair that he once had and that it will not fall out again? No one knows for sure what causes this condition and I have taken him to 3 different doctors, all with the same results. Again, I am thankful he is healthy, but I pray he can be a normal little boy without this problem. Thank you all so much, Linda [email protected]
