Please pray for Nick. He suffered extremely serious injuries, and his prognosis, by way of appearances, is bleak. You may send your words of prayer and hope to Chris at [email protected] who will relay them to his family. He is a young man with a beautiful wife and three children. Through Him, With Him, In Him, Sue <*}}}>< <*}}}>< Nick actually suffered severe head trauma, as well as breaking his back. His surgery Sunday night was 7 hours long and they removed a portion of his skull to allow for the swelling of his brain. They will not be addressing his back injury until the brain swelling is under control. I spoke to his dad, Jim, last night and he said that the right side of his face has also started to swell.
His condition is still critical so please take some time aside to pray specifically for Nick and his family and fast in some way if you're able. Thanks so much. Prayer works!!! If Nick does pull out of this the doctors at Beth Israel say that he will be blind and mute and will not have the use of the right side of his body. There could also be many other neurological problems as well. Lord, have Mercy! Have mercy on Nick, his little girls and his whole family. Give them all the strength and faith they need to get through it all. Thank you all for your prayers. Liz and Jim so appreciate them. We can still pray for a miracle.... they happen every day! In the end His Will be done, as hard as it can be for us to understand. Isaiah 55: 8,9 His ways are far above our ways, and His thoughts above our thoughts. We need to trust in Him. He is the giver of life, and the One who knows what we need to reach eternal life. Nick is in a coma... and things appear bleak.. but I like to think he's sitting in Jesus' lap, As much as I'd love to It's impossible for me to respond to all your replies...
