This request is from our daughter, Laura, in Oklahoma, for one of Hannah's friends. Her name is McKenzie and she is 13 and saved. It's a very long story. Every adult relative in McKenzie's life is a substance abuser, all the way up to her great grandmother, who has legal custody of her. Laura and David attempted to get custody of her but the problems were too great and they succeeded in having her placed in a Christian children's home at Christmas time. Her dream was to live with her father, who was in prison but about to be released and seemed to be straightening out his life. Yesterday, he died. Don't know what happened yet. One thing Laura and Dave are concerned about is that she won't return to the home after the funeral, etc. She has run away before she went into the home, but seemed to be doing well there, until this happened. She needs to be surrounded by Christians who will get her the help she needs. Please pray for healing for the entire family and peace for McKenzie, and for God's intervention so that His plan for her life will be set in motion.
