Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, I have just returned home from visiting Bob in the hospital. It was a beautiful visit with him, his wife Margie, myself and another friend of ours (Frances) who unexpectedly came. She brought Our Lady of All Graces Holy Oil, Holy Oil from Bethlehem given to her by a dear priest friend, and Holy Water. I brought St. Raphael's healing Oil and prayer cards. When I arrived, he immediately told me he was diagnosed with prostate cancer. He has the early stages of it, which if diagnosed , is the best place to be. He said the doctor said had he not had the fever and had been admitted to the hospital, they would not have known.Bob is a powerful prayer warrior for everyone. He once ran for office on the Pro-life ticket. I led the prayers, blessing each with all of the oils, invoking Our Lady, Jesus, St. Raphael, etc. His color came back and he had a beautiful experience during the prayers, especially when the St. Raphael Healing prayers were said. I ask that you continue to pray for Bob, Margie and their family. They truly are a family that prays together. Their entire family is active in our parish. Their daughter is a cantor, as are their two beautiful granddaughters. Their son in law is a deacon. Bob expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all of you for your prayers as do I. May you be blessed abundantly in return.
