Longtime friend publishes correspondence with Pope John Paul II

Wanda Poltawska, a survivor of a Nazi concentration camp who became acquainted with the future Pope in the 1950s, exchanged letters with him for years, and now-- prompted by friends-- has assembled a 570-page book that is being published in Polish as The Beskidy Mountains Recollections.
