Planned Parenthood gives award for defeating SD abortion laws <http://www.voicescarryblog.com/planned-parenthood-gives-award-for-defeating-sd-abortion-laws>http://www.voicescarryblog.com/planned-parenthood-gives-award-for-defeating-sd-abortion-laws The Minneapolis Tribune ran a story this weekend on Sarah Stoesz, the leader of Planned Parenthood in MN/SD/ND. She's tired of polarized politics. We all know she's such a middle of the road gal. She believes her respecting the moral conflicts that are at the core of the debate was what worked in South Dakota. Yes, when I think of respecting morality Sarah Stoesz is the first one who comes to mind. I wish I could have been there last month in New York to see her get an award from Planned Parenthood for defeating the 2006/2008 South Dakota abortion laws. Since I wasn't there I can only imagine how that went…. Cecile Richards: And this year we want to present our very prestigious 2009 Headless Bloody Baby Doll award to one who successfully deceived an entire state with our killer, eugenics/racist, anti-woman, anti-science ideology. Envelope please… (OhBama, ushering for the event, enters stage right with the envelope - Richards opens it…). And this years prestigious Headless Bloody Baby Doll award goes to………. Sarah Stoesz!!! Sarah Stoesz: (Runs to the stage, clutches the award - blood smears on her hands and arms, jumps a couple times in surprise and excitement) Oh! I… Me?… But… Really?… I'm… (takes the deep breath she prevents children from taking…) This… is such a surprise. I thought for sure the award would be given to South Dakota Right to Life… I want to thank Tiffany Campbell for allowing us to exploit her pain to manipulate voters and get them to focus on the fraction of a percent of anomaly cases thereby fully diverting an entire states attention away from the 99.9% of needless abortions we do to make money on those who count on our "services" when their birth control fails… I want to thank everyone who sent the millions of dollars from outside the state because you know nobody there was writing checks to kill children… The Tribune captured Vote Yes for Life's response from Leslee Unruh… basically… they outspent us three to one, confused the voter and never talked about abortion. That's certainly part of it. Curious though why former South Dakota PP director Kate Looby didn't get an award?? Oh, never mind, she got a pink slip instead, I forgot they sidelined her in 2006 after she became an embarrassment and liability to them in the depositions for the Informed Consent case. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Please note that I do not send or open attachments sent to this list.
