Probably not. Can't call myself an old timer, but during my
programming career that started ca. WO 3.5, all software advances
were mostly due to faster hardware and better network connectivity,
that allowed to try out the old ideas in production environment :-)

Ah. Is that all it meant? Yeah, I've been dynamically creating
pages and components (and sometimes applications) from my Cayenne
model for years now, even under Struts :) And that was a port of my
WO/EOGenerator stuff pre-cayenne. Guess it's just a matter of
everyone else catching up again :)
