So we are starting to get real code, cool!

Marcel, I'll take a look at your initial submission shortly. A few comments on the Jira procedure (we may tweak it more as we go if we come up with better ideas)

1. Let's select "SUMMER OF CODE 2006" for the "Affected Version" and the "Fix Version".

2. Let's open one issue per patch or code submission. This way a mentor can comment on each specific patch and once the issue is marked as resolved by the mentor, it means that the code is reviewed and committed to Apache.

3. Let's make the issue name reflective of the contents of the submission. E.g. in the case of CAY-558 a good name would be "cayenne- rop: initial submission".

4. Please write up some comments describing what functionality is provided by the patch, what problems it fixes, and/or anything else that might be helpful to a mentor. You don't have to make it long - a 2-3 line comment is usually enough to explain what's going on.
