Interestingly, all unit tests do pass with the new Hessian jars. I
think it may be worthwhile setting up integration test environment to
test in a real container (e.g. via Cargo: http://
cargo.codehaus.org/). Just an idea.

NamedQueries does work, but not SelectQuery. I used NamedQueries
from CocoaCayenne, so I discovered it a bit too late. Sorry -
working on it now.
I am seeing a breakage. I'll have time later tonight to delve into
exactly where, but the first query we do fails. So far I just took
our working application, updated Cayenne to current svn and
Hessian, and tried some basic tests.
