Andrus, Those are the only objectstyle lines in the stack trace. The next line up is my code calling a "get" method on a DataObject property, so I'm not sure how seeing my code would be useful.

Dave, could you post the rest of the stack? Looks like the fault fires on deserialization, i.e. too early in the container lifecycle when there is no DB connection yet. Normally this shouldn't happen. I wonder what causes it; and the answer might be a few steps up the stack trace.
