I just returned from a swing around the Gaspe Peninsula and would like to note the sighting of 16 WHIMBRELS feeding with both yellowlegs along the shore somewhere between Cap Chat and Trois Pistoles. Be on the lookout. They may be headed this way. (Actually, the real reason for this post is to throw out those place names: Cape Cat and Three Pistols. Or how about the Chic Choc Mountains?!)
