I birded the woods behind my house Sunday morning. I flushed out a pair of wood ducks at the pond by the Groton Gun club. There was also a flock of twenty to thirty robins and a few song sparrows. The most interesting sight was a pair of MEADOWLARKS flying around the field behind my house.
My dad also saw a meadowlark yesterday driving on the dirt roads behind Fillmore Glen.
