I biked back to Stewart Park in the late afternoon after the geese and gulls 
had returned.  
Kathy Strickland had asked about Cackling Geese, but I wasn't able to discern 
any.  
I did find a juvenile ICELAND GULL (my main goal) and a/the adult LESSER BLACK-
BACKED GULL, as well as a GREAT BLUE HERON.  The ice is a very nice width now, 
wide enough that the birds will use it but narrow enough that they are easy to 
scope.
