I had seen the swans at Stewart Park at dawn, dusk, 9am, 11am,
 and I suspect all other times as well.  Until today I think they had 
been there constantly since (and probably before) I first reported 
the large flock. I think the same was true of the individual which 
showed up earlier, but I'm less sure of that.  But I agree, I've seen 
swans in fields, too, at times.
