Earlier today I walked down to the Greenway at the end of Coventry Walk (near North Wood Apts.) and found few birds, but I did see/hear the jessed RED-TAILED HAWK jingle as it flew past. This is my first sighting of this bird since Thanksgiving Day late last year at the same spot.
In the field immediately west of North Wood Apts. there was a NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD. I just returned from Bomax Drive where I found one NORTHERN CARDINAL and a fly-by AMERICAN CROW.
