I saw my FOS pied billed grebes at Montezuma across from Benning Marsh at just before 10:00 am today. The bald eagles at Mud Lock are still not on the nest. I understand that this is a new female since she doesn't have any tags. They are still bringing back nesting materials and mating, but no eggs yet. Does this mean there might not be any eaglets at this nest this year? Is it too late for nesting?
