On 22 March I listed what I thought were first 2010 Cayuga Lake Basin records
for
February through then. I received one correction:

17 Mar EASTERN PHOEBE by Nate Senner in Sapsucker Woods (which town?)

Now several more species have shown up. Here's what I have:

24 Mar BONAPARTE'S GULL by Jeff Gerbracht, Chris Wood & Jessie Barry
(lunchtime) at Stewart Park, Ithaca
25 Mar OSPREY by John & Fritzie Blizzard at nest south of NYS 5&20, east of NYS
89, Tyre
25 Mar PECTORAL SANDPIPER by Bob McGuire north of Armitage Rd, Tyre/Savannah
27 Mar PINE WARBLER by Ed Thomas at feeder, Ellis Hollow Rd, Dryden
01 Apr DUNLIN by Bob McGuire north of Armitage Rd, Tyre/Savannah
01 Apr NORTHERN ROUGH-WINGED SWALLOW by Meena Haribal on Pine Tree Rd, Ithaca
02 Apr GREAT EGRET by Diana Whiting at Knox-Marsellus Marsh, East Rd, Tyre
02 Apr LESSER YELLOWLEGS by Andrea Burke (Wildlife Drive) or Michael Burdick
(Tschache Pool), Montezuma NWR, Tyre
03 Apr BROAD-WINGED HAWK by Ryan Douglas at Ithaca-Tompkins Airport, Lansing
03 Apr VIRGINIA RAIL by Dave Nutter from Thruway side of Main Pool, Montezuma
NWR, Tyre
03 Apr BARN SWALLOW by Ryan Douglas from Etna Rd east of Hanshaw Rd, Dryden
03 Apr VESPER SPARROW by Chris Wood on railroad grade east of Monkey Run Rd
south, Dryden
04 Apr RED-NECKED GREBE by Dave Nutter (10am) on Dryden Lake, Dryden

Please let me know if any of the information above is incorrect,
or if there are earlier records of these species,
or if other species have arrived of which I appear unaware.
Thanks.
