Myers was great this morning with glass-smooth water and almost no shimmer, making identifications of very distant birds possible. Highlights were three flocks of HORNED GREBEs for a total of 25 individuals, most in breeding plumage and swimming slowly north; two flocks of LONG-TAILED DUCKs for a total of 32, also slowly making their way north; and two flocks of BONAPARTE'S GULLs flying north, each about 30 in size.
