Cayugabirders,
A singing male Baltimore Oriole was at Salt Point in Lansing this
morning around 6:30.  This is early for the area by about 2 weeks
(avg. arrival = 29 April).  Also, David Winkler and I saw an American
Bittern this morning at the Cornell research ponds north of the
Ithaca/ Tompkins Regional Airport.  The bird flushed out of a
vegetated pond and flew high and away toward the Lab of O...
