Hi all, I made a quick run to campus today before the rain began and was pleasantly surprised to hear a PURPLE FINCH singing on my way up the slope. On my return trip, I heard what I believe was an AMERICAN PIPIT calling overhead. I'm pretty sure this wasn't one of the 50 noisy starlings prowling about.
