Opposite Dyce lab on Freese Road is a freshly-ploughed field. On the left edge, beyond the solitary tree is a depression now filled with water. Earlier this evening were two Solitary Sandpipers (I'm sure of this ID) and three Least Sandpipers (I think! I didn't have a field guide, and I have trouble with these at the best of times).
