Among the birds banded this morning was our first Acadian Flycatcher of the year. Hummingbirds arrived late yesterday. The Acadian is a good week early and the hummers a week late.
Avian arrivals have been all over the place in relation to our 24 year norm whereas plants have unifrmly been blooming three weeks early.
