A bit of yard-watching on this glorious Saturday payed off when an adult GOLDEN
EAGLE circled through my patch of sky, accompanied by a line of migrating
TURKEY VULTURES. Other highlights were a single PINE SISKIN, sev. PURPLE
FINCHES, a flock of GOLDEN-CROWNED KINGLETS, RUBY-CROWNED KINGLET, and
WHITE-THROATED SPARROWS. A flock of RING-BILLED GULLS was circling high
overhead for awhile, hawking aerial insects.
