This morning, 21 Oct, at 9am I saw an adult winter RED-NECKED PHALAROPE
briefly at Stewart Park on the water near some ducks near the tennis courts.
It soon flew west, alit briefly, and flew west again, when I lost track of it. Other
birds included:
GREEN-WINGED TEAL - 10
HOODED MERGANSER - 1 male
BUFFLEHEAD - 4 male, 4 female
GREATER (1) & LESSER SCAUP (2) together
GADWALL - 2 or 3
AMERICAN COOT - 7
RUDDY DUCK - 6 female, 1 male
AMERICAN WIGEON - 1
