I went to Sheldrake Point and south. The winds and whitecaps were heavy and no
waterfowl were seen except for Mallards near shore and in most sheltered or
protected areas. All Mallards that were in the surf were headed south.

Not much in the way of waterfowl near/in Ithaca until I got to the SE corner of
the lake. All the geese and Mallards were here. I continued to Meyers Point to
look for the Eider with no joy. The Mallards were on the beach and near shore.
The lake waters were calmish and the winds were light. There were no birds on
the lake.
