Richard,
I'm not sure if you have been sent this:
http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&msa=0&msid=114120516821703404941.000445465d665faee559f&ll=42.557127,-76.35498&spn=0.252893,0.410614&t=h&z=11&iwloc=lyrftr:msid:114120516821703404941.000445465d665faee559f,000476e9aabd1dc8f5e3d,42.45994,-76.27739,0,-32
It should show an outline on a satellite photo
of (on page 1) the Seneca Lake drainage with various sites marked and much of the
Cayuga Lake Basin with various sites marked. Note that the northern outline of the
CLB is incorrect on page 1. I made an attempt (unfortunately it shows on page 2) to more
accurately outline the northern border of the basin, which is neither square nor random,
but includes drainage from both south and north into the Clyde & Seneca Rivers from
western and eastern points on those rivers chosen by botanists Wiegand and Eames
and published in 1926.
As I recall, Bear Swamp is out. The boundary runs through Summerhill and crosses Lick Street,
but Salt Road is all in. A Delorme NYS Atlas can be useful for showing drainages, and I've
marked mine with pencil. It's very old-fashioned but works for me in the field.
Interesting reports from somewhat outside the CLB are regular and welcome on this listserv.

Thanks for the URL, this is helpful and will be used.
Another question: I see that there are locations in Summer Hill. Is this part of the Cayuga drainage? In notice that very near by is Fillmore Glen SP which does drain into Owasco Lake. And on occasion I see references in the list to Bear Swamp. In basin or out?
Again, thanks.
Richard
