Whatta' beautiful day!!!!!! For a start .........
250 SNOW GEESE ... greeted me as I went outside. 5 CHICKADEES ... joined me at the feeders. 20 HOUSEFINCHES ... on the clothesline & feeder. 70+ STARLINGS ... descended into the cedars. 1 MOCKINGBIRD ... defending the cedars from the starlings. 6 CROWS ... checking the compost pile. 3 BLUE JAYS ... being chased by angry mockingbird. 1 DOWNY ... tappity-tapping on the tree bark. Hunters are going "bang-bang here, bang-bang there." Still no Eider for me. To all you wonderful folks who have posted &/or helped other birders & uplifted others in one way or another ....
