Seems like that Rough-legged is using that row of conifers as a regular perch - 
one was there yesterday too. Yesterday, I estimated there were at least 3 maybe 
more Rough-leggeds at the airport - one dark-morph and possibly 2 light morphs. 
Trying to photograph them in flight. There was also a female-plumage Northern 
Harrier feeding on something very close to the road at one point. It's a good 
place to watch these raptors.

Subject: [cayugabirds-l] Cowbirds and Rough-legged Hawk

Yesterday afternoon around 3:30I had 3 Brown-headed Cowbirds show up at my
feeders in Caroline Center.

Shortly after 8 this morning while driving on Warren Rd I found a
Rough-legged Hawk sitting on a small Cedar(?) across the road from the
airport.
