Forgetting a good camera yesterday guaranteed that we would find the snow geese 
south of Rt. 31 in the fields near Savannah.  The link below is to some low 
quality phone shots at about 11:00 am.  It was amazing.  Read Meena's post from

While we were at Savannah, there were a couple of dozen tundra swans on the 
north side of the road. 

Looking across from the Montezuma visitor center, there was an eagle on the 
nest, two in the tree, and one soaring overhead.  We also said hello to the 
screech owl on factory pond.  A stop on the way at Myers included a visit by a 
very healthy looking mink on the south side of the point.
