Hello,

Canada Goose (Branta canadensis) 40
Wood Duck (Aix sponsa) 6
Gadwall (Anas strepera) 3
American Wigeon (Anas americana) 8 Offshore with other ducks; later I
found a group of four birds on the ice in Fall Creek. Two truculent males

I reached for my camera in the backseat and started taking pictures of the
ensuing drama. All of a sudden a Red-tailed Hawk came to the rescue of the
poor female as it landed on a male wigeon, who just barely escaped with his
life! See http://www.flickr.com/photos/seabamirum/tags/wigeon/show/ for a
slideshow of all the action.
