Hi, I had my biggest species total of the year so far at Stewart Park this morning with a lot of waterfowl and landbird diversity. Of particular interest were singing RUSTY BLACKBIRDS, an OSPREY, one male BROWN-HEADED COWBIRD (confirmed visually--a lot of the starlings here imitate Cowbirds!), a JUNCO, and two RED-BELLIED WOODPECKERS. AMERICAN GOLDFINCHES have also arrived after being absent in the park for almost the entire winter.
