On Tuesday (4/12) we saw (and heard) 3-4 sapsuckers on Bundy Road,
and later in the afternoon while looking out the window at our yard
saw one on a tree. It visited 3 more trees before flying out of
sight but left a calling card, namely four neat holes in a horizontal
row on one of the trees.

On Sheffield Road Gen-ex Co-op has a nice pond with a large mowed lawn
surrounding it. We always see killdeer there in the summer, and saw
one on Tuesday. We expect to see more there (usually 4-6) soon.
