Hi, I know it's not Cayuga basin but thought I'd mention a couple finds this morning:
Besides the resident 2-3 pair of Buffleheads, had 4 Red-breasted Mergansers (3 female, 1 male) moving south down the lake about a mile south of 96A/East Rd junction. Also had a single Barn Swallow, a very active Ruby-crowned Kinglet, and a very pale Dark-eyed Junco (almost brownish color?). -- Cayugabirds-L List Info: http://www.NortheastBirding.com/CayugabirdsWELCOME http://www.NortheastBirding.com/CayugabirdsRULES ARCHIVES: 1) http://www.mail-archive.com/cayugabirds-l@cornell.edu/maillist.html 2) http://birdingonthe.net/mailinglists/CAYU.html 3) http://www.surfbirds.com/birdingmail/Group/Cayugabirds Please submit your observations to eBird: http://ebird.org/content/ebird/ --
