A quick run through Montezuma brought fewer ducks than last couple weeks but
did see 15 Caspian Terns and about a dozen Pectoral Sandpipers,
all in the new shorebird pool (before curve). East Road, Van Dyne Spoor &
Railroad roads had a lot of Wood Ducks, DC Cormorants, 1 Horned Grebe,
and a pair of Pileated Woodpeckers (at Van Dyne Spoor Rd turnaround). Not much
at the MAC except a Sandhill Crane putting on a display for himself.
