I enjoyed watching and listening to a pair of lovely BROWN THRASHERS dashing around, then eating Staghorn Sumac seeds in a bushy, over-grown meadow above Lansing Station Rd., Lansing, near east shore of Cayuga Lake, about 4 PM. One bird had a fair amount of yellow on the margins of its breast.
