A few highlights from a cold spring morning...
I refound Chris's ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER briefly at the Etna Preserve off
Rt, 366. I also heard an EASTERN KINGBIRD and a LEAST FLYCATCHER here.
Still no shorebirds at George Road but lots of swallows this morning,
including about 20 Bank Swallows and at least one CLIFF SWALLOW.

I didn't see much around Jetty Woods, Renwick and Stewart Park later in the
morning (although the water levels in Renwick and Jetty Woods are very
impressive! Wear boots.) I did have a surprising number of PALM WARBLERS
around the swan pen, at least six individuals, all Western.

I didn't see anything in the shallow ponds in the fields south of Hanshaw
Road today, but yesterday there was a SOLITARY SANDPIPER and a LESSER
YELLOWLEGS with a few Mallards in these wet areas.
